Difference Between Open End and Closed End Mutual Fund

There are primarily three differentiating factors between a close end and open end mutual fund.

  1. Maturity: Open End Mutual Fund don’t have a fixed maturity date, whereas close end mutual fund have a fixed maturity date. The duration for a close end mutual fund is usually from 7-10 Years in Nepal.
